Learning

Don’t be intimidated if this is your first time experiencing Flyboarding. Learning to operate the Flyboard is much easier than you might think. With proper instruction from our certified instructor most people will start flying the Flyboard their first 5 minutes in the water. After only 15 minutes of practice you could easily have basic control of your movements over the water. Some people will have a natural ability and a faster learning curve, but everyone will have a lot of fun during their first ride. Most riders have found that they can really get a feel for it by their second ride.

How It Works

The personal watercraft provides all of the propulsion for the Flyboard. Using a set of unique and patented adapters, inventor Franky Zapata of Zapata Racing, turned an ordinary watercraft into a Water Sports Sensation. The thrust from the PWC is routed through a long hose up to the Flyboard where a rider can divert and control that thrust to create any type of movement he or she desires. All of the thrust developed from the PWC is routed through the hose, so the PWC just follows behind the rider in trail giving you the freedom to go anywhere, even underwater. The Flyboard has its own buoyancy and therefore floats on the water allowing the rider more safety and easier time in the water prior to start. Be sure to watch all of our videos to see examples of basic instruction as well as the extreme stunts experienced riders can pull off. To sum this up, you can fly over the water, under the water, and have complete freedom to fly freestyle without the risk of getting hurt. We can assure you that the Flyboard is extremely SAFE. We have many options for anyone who would like to buy or try the Flyboard.

The Flyboard

The Flyboard is a machine which allows propulsion underwater and in the air. Two versions are available. The first version is for a 2 persons use: the first person is on the PWC and the second uses the Flyboard. This version allows fast learning and great freedom of movement which depends on the feet tilt. The second version is for a single use and allows for better flight precision. This version is not for rent, but may be purchased by an experienced rider. Its intuitive use provides you exceptional sensations.

After a few minutes you can already move underwater like a dolphin and challenge the forces of gravity like Ironman! The nozzles under your feet provide 90% of the propulsion and allows a movement which depends on the feet tilt of the flyboarder, while the nozzles on the hands are used to ensure stabilization as ski poles.
